Rev. P. Owen Juhlke (Pastor)

Pastor Owen began his position as Lead Pastor at Calvary Gospel Church on September 1, 2024. Originally from Beamsville, Ontario, he worked in the secular world for many years before entering into ministry. He graduated from Beamsville District Secondary School, (1982). He is a graduate of McMaster Divinity College with a Diploma in Ministry (M.Div. equiv.) (2008). He began his ministry career as a Chaplain in Long Term Care.  He has also served as a lead Pastor at Durham Baptist Church, (Durham, ON); Cambridge Street Baptist (Lindsay, ON), and planted a church, The Way Community Church, (Vineland, ON). Pastor Owen brings 20 years of previous pastoral experience to his ministry at Calvary Gospel Church. He is the author of The Clergyman who Couldn’t even Pray for a Cat. (2022)

Pastor Owen has been married to his dear wife Helga since 1985. He is also blessed with four children—his son Jonathon (wife Renee and two granddaughters Emily and Lauren), his son Karl (wife Cordelia and two grandsons, Marcus and Barnabas), daughter Katie (husband Eric), and son Peter (wife Annie and grandchildren Maximus and Rosie).
